We are on another fieldtrip in Thurso. After Rach driving 4 and a half hours through thick fog we have arrived safely and enjoying a small walk to stretch the legs. Weather is blue skies and sunshine🤩 Alex Brasier is it home time yet?

A few days in Thurso complete ✅🥳 The fog to begin with was beautiful- blinding most things in the distance but as usual it was sunny and blue skies when we left ☀️thanks Alex Brasier & Joe Armstrong for a very good trip 🌋

Back home after a weekend in Anstruther looking at Igneous rocks (Dolerite & tuffs) along with folds! We are really proud of our friend Frankie Butler for joining us in the field and being an amazing, motivating person- (some of us were not happy being too cold🤣🥶)💙🌋

(Ben) First time spotting the queen this year. Last year, the hive killed the old one. Then spent the rest of summer and early autumn rearing a new one. Was kinda touch and go over winter what with the cold weather. But they do be thriving, so proud 😀
