It’s the worst that every year one sandal of my favorite pair falls apart. Why is this a thing?

If I don't allow God’s Word to tell my thoughts where to go in the AM, my surroundings & circumstances will. My to-do list will tell me to be rushed, the highlight reel of others' lives will tell me to be more, & inconveniences that arise will tell me to be irritable & unkind.
