We've just learned that John Trimble passed away this morning (April 19, 2024). John, and his wife Bjo, were key players in early Star Trek fandom. They were responsible for the original "Save Star Trek" campaigns, and they organized several early conventions.

It seems to me that American Christianity has gone far out of their way to invent arcane reasons why they don't need to obey Christ's commandments of loving your neighbor, of caring for the sick, or showing compassion to the outsider. Or of not judging your neighbor.

My wife and my daughter enjoyed talking with you in Vegas last August. Sadly we will not be in Vegas this year . Hope to see you again next year
