I hit 12,000 words for my first MG/YA novel. Goal is 40,000 minus 10% during the editing process. Writing isn’t hard and gets easier the more you do it.

How to manage your emotions

Hit 35,000 words last night night. Almost done with my first manuscript and I’m kind of bummed it’s almost over. I guess I’ll start the next one and wait six weeks before I start the revision.

So I took a break from writing the first book and started another. Close to 40,000 words with the second one. The more you write, the easier it gets.

Five months and 71,000 words later, I finished writing The Misadventures of June Taylor. My first manuscript ever. Now comes the fun part: revision and edits—which I will start six weeks later.

Haven’t posted in a while. Just did a clean-up of my timeline. I didn’t do that much deleting, but I still feel exhausted. Regardless, it’s cool to see how much I’ve grown despite the dumb things I’ve said over the years (a lot are still there for your viewing pleasure 😂).
