Look, I realize there’s still a quarter left of game 1, but I’m going to get a jump on saying this… I continue to be a Brian Kelly defender. He’s been the right fit for Notre Dame Football from the beginning, and the year after year dismissal of the program gets tiresome.

An excellent article by Noel Murray. I discovered Pelecanos after moving to the DMV from Conway, AR and via great public libraries quickly read through his entire canon. I also took a seminary class on The Wire and its lessons for ministry in the region. Both remain very impactful.
