We extend a huge thank you to Rita and David Scott who once again opened their home on Lake Lanier to our military veteran couples. The Scotts hosted two marriage retreats in July for six couples, giving them the gift of a peaceful getaway and time to invest in their marriages.

Today is the anniversary of the death of 1Lt Donald Carwile, killed in action in Afghanistan. He was the father of Reese Carwile, our 2024 Scholarship Ambassador, and her younger sister Avery. His sacrifice will not be forgotten.

Thank you to Adams Lodge Outfitters for generously hosting another healing outdoor adventure for our combat veterans! These servicemembers enjoyed a 4 days and 3 nights of camping, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, and sharing war stories around the campfire.
