Not much to report lately with the lack of games. But we returned today with a 4-3 win in the league cup against a good footballing side in Hightown Vets. The game had everything you want in a cup game. Onto the next one 🟠⚫

Away to CDV FC this weekend. Always a good game agaisnt a good set of lads. Duke Street, Formby, 2pm kick off....... Weather Permitting.

We just came up short in a close contested 5-4 defeat to CDV FC. It was a great game, some good football, big tackles, goal line clearences, everything you want in a 'derby'. Onto next week. 🟠⚫

Formby CFC Vets travel a short distance to nearby Hightown this week as we take on Hightown Vets at Hightown Cricket club. 2pm kick off. Should be a great game.

Back at it today as we take on The NAC Vets at the home of football, Smithy Green, Formby. 2pm Kick off. Should be a cracker.

6-1 defeat to the NAC Vets. The Game was played in good spirit, with them running out deserved winners. Onto next week. 3 games left.

Nice to get a win under the belt today, was a struggle with only 11 players turning up, but we managed a last minute winner agaisnt De La Salle Vets. Two games left.

Lost 4-2 against The Grammar Vets today. Only managed to field 11 after initially having 14. One more to go, then onto next season. Awful football conditions for April. 🟠⚫

Season starts 7th of September. Hoping to get a few friendlies in before then. Anyone fancies sorting one out give me a message.

First Preseason friendly played today, good game played in the right way, on a very big JMO pitch. Next game is wednesday night vs Maghull Masters FC Looking forward to it.

Wasn't a great start to the season, going down 5-0 to The Shakey. Fell apart after 2nd goal early in the 2nd half. Liverpool FA Sefton pitches where immaculate though.
