Ad oggi, sto imparando l'italiano da sei mesi. È difficile, e il mio progresso è lento, ma mi fa piacere molto. Arrivederci presto in estate 👋 #imparando #italiano #languagelearner #italian

Alright, going to be more active here on Muskodon, too. You can find my new home here at buff.ly/3WxFetr. Now that APIs seem to be up again, I'm going to cross toot, eh, I mean tweet about Unity and game dev in general. #gamedev #unity3d #unitydev #dots #bevyecs

Has anyone used Unity's preview stage API inside their project, i.e. the system also used by prefabs, to show content inside a "separate editing or preview scene"? buff.ly/3BQm34H #gamedev #unity3d #unitydev

I received two game dev magazines in my mailbox today. Find me at the restroom for the next several hours. #gamedev #unity3d #unitydev #debugmagazine #edgemagazine

Unity has 3 different ways of loading and using 2X icons inside the Editor - all of which are internal-only and not available to developers. #gamedev #unity3d #unitydev

Creating a good-looking Editor tool window icon in Unity is not complicated - once you know how it works. The APIs that have to be used aren't easy to spot, and also undocumented 🤷 #gamedev #unity3d #unitydev #unitytips

.NET file system APIs are overengineered string manipulation utilities. Change my mind. #dotnet #programming #gamedev #unity3d #changemymind

The "ref" modifier will tell the compiler that struct instances may only be allocated on the stack, preventing them from being used in heap-allocated locations. Cool! It couldn't be easier to write allocation free-code 🙌 buff.ly/440EnUH #gamedev #unity3d #dotnet

And one more, to find closure (pun intended). Using the "static" keywords on lambdas or anonymous functions will disallow them from capturing any variables or references of its enclosing scope. Cool! 🤗 buff.ly/441HviZ #gamedev #unity3d #unitydev #dotnet #staypure

Coding with Claude is like watching a thriller. Tokens counting up is building up tension, broken by every time the agent shares results on the terminal.

First time trying Azure. It's a mixed bag. UI and documentation seems way better than AWS (at least it seems to be made for humans). However, I've not been able to deploy so far, and I'm not sure if it's just me holding it wrong :P

Reading web framework docs is like browsing wikipedia. You jump from one topic you never heard of to another, and hours later you've read all/nothing and no end in sight
