A great night and dinner with friends at Carlo and Johnny. I would highly recommend the Wagyu Meatball appetizer. It was absolutely “melt in your mouth” good! And as always the Jeff Ruby steaks were done to perfection!

Another great night and dinner ⁦Jeff Ruby⁩ made even more special by our visitor Mr. Buddy LaRosa!

Last night as we enjoyed our meal Jeff Ruby downtown, our Son, reflecting on his meal and experience said “This changes your perspective on food.” My response was to blurt out “exactly!” Not bad, 18 and the “bar is set!”

Our Son Dylan, sated he wasn’t ready for college yet, so, he joined the Air Force. He’s now in advanced training at Sheppard AFB. When told he could have any meal, anywhere when he completes his trading, his response: Jeff Ruby WE trained him well!

Tonight, I was invited to Kenwood Baptist Church by my neighbor, Jon Kane to hear Dr. Derwin L. Gray speak. In a word: POWERFUL!! Jump in, get his book, “ The Good Life.” Such a small world, he was #30 with the Colts when I lived in Indy! A blessed night!!

I have listened to @vogel_wlwt since I moved to Cincinnati in 1997. As a sports lover, I have always enjoyed his style and the enthusiasm of his reports. Sportscasting in Cincinnati will not be the same! Good luck George and ENJOY!!!

Time to climb up on my soap box! We bought a new 2023 Toyota USA Highlander in early November from Kings Toyota. At the time, they only had one key fob, but we were promised we would have it in 2 months. Then, in January, we were told April, now, it’s late summer! Buyer BEWARE!!

It has been nearly a year and the doctors tell me that I can resume fly fishing in three weeks!!

I have been an a fan of The Oak Ridge Boys since 1976 and I’m sad to hear that a health issue has led to the retirement of Joe Bonsall Without that signature tenor voice, his charisma and overall stage presence, it just won’t be the same. Joe, you’re in our thoughts and prayers.

Tonight, when shopping at Kroger I chose some beer and wine. When checking out, they said they now require a drivers license scan (Absolutely data collection). I Removed the alcohol from my order. Happy to SHOW them my DL, but not a chance they’re scanning my DL BOYCOTT Kroger
