The worldwide head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Hazrat Mirza Nasir Ahmad (1909-1982), Khalifatul Masih III (1965-1982) visited #WashingtonDC for the 2nd time in 1980 during the tenure of Syed Mir Mahmood Nasir (1929-2025) as Imam of American Fazl Mosque.

Syed Mir Mahmood Nasir (d. 2025) hosted Dr. Abdus Salaam (1926-1996) at the American Fazl Mosque in Washington DC in 1980 after he received his 1979 Nobel Prize in Physics.
