Very happy to share our GSNZ article on Diamond Open Access Journals. This was originally published in the GSNZ July Newsletter, and thanks to them for allowing us to post this 👍 As universities in NZ face a funding crisis, surely #DOAJ have never been so important!

The fantastic Active Fault and Seismogenic Source Databases produced by the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) project PREPARE (Jack Williams @faulty-jack.bsky.social Luke Wedmore Ake Fagereng , University of Bristol Earth Sciences, Cardiff School of Earth & Environmental Sciences and most importantly, Malawi) are now available through COMET Datasets & Services too.

Excellent article!! Though I think the challenge remains in getting the message to prospective students about the value of a geosciences degree ....probably also worth a ready by university management before they cut said geoscience departments 🙈
