The petition was written & financed by a Republican who lost the race for DA to Garza in 2020. This is the 2d such petition Garza has faced since first elected. Unlike other prosecutors, being a reform prosecutor means never having the luxury of focusing solely on the work.

The FBI just released data showing that violent crime, including homicide, went down at a faster rate than any time in the last 40 years. The response in many quarters is that it can’t be true, but these same skeptics never question the data when the FBI reports crime is up.

Virginia is the last bastion of reproductive choice in the South — and we've got to keep it that way.

That's why Ramin Fatehi and I support Barbara Favola's SB 15, which would prevent the Governor from subjecting women to the draconian anti-abortion laws of other states.

While the Virginia Democrats are trying to keep Virginians safe, the Virginia GOP is trying to pad their wallets with checks from the NRA.

The welfare queens & thugs” of the 80’s & 90’s are today’s “invading migrants.” It’s not subtle, nor is meant to be. The point is to have people who embody everything you’re supposed to hate & fear. Doesn’t matter who - better if they’re outsiders; best if they’re black or brown.
