Another early gastric cancer noted on OSH EGD & referred to UTSW Surg Onc. Our Surg Onc team discussed with us regarding ESD. Patient underwent successful curative endoscopic removal without need for major surgery. Very grateful for the multi-disciplinary care UT Southwestern Medical Center 🙏

UT Southwestern Medical Center’s What’s New in GI 2025 was a great success with talks from Shawn Shah, Kerry Dunbar, MD, PhD, David Fudman, MD, Daniel Ellis, Tom Tielleman, MD, Tarek Sawas, MD, MPH, and many more! The highlight was a fantastic keynote talk on AI from Tyler Berzin MD, FASGE visiting from BIDMC Department of Medicine!

This week we had a phenomenal sim session on all things dilation with Drs. Tom Tielleman, MD & Ben Elsbernd, MD. A whirlwind session covering Savary, Balloons, Pneumatic, and Stents w/ fantastic hands on! We also got to break in our fantastic new Fujifilm endoscopes in the sim lab!🎉
