PP2 had a real treat in their #music lesson this morning when they were joined by extreme cellist and Birkdale governor, Jeremy Dawson, playing some classical and some Star Wars pieces! He also showed some photos of him playing cello on Ben Nevis! Extreme Cello 🎼🎻

Although our 2020 Extreme Cello plans are on hold because of the pandemic, the Junior Extreme Cellists (now aged 13-16) have done this wonderful socially-distanced recording to offer us all a Bridge Over Troubled Water in these difficult times! youtu.be/b-ge0iKuEMo

This young cellist has done an amazing series of 100 outdoor performances, one on each day of lockdown. We particularly enjoyed number 100 - playing out in the Peak District at the crack of dawn. Truly an extreme cellist in the making! Well done Toby!
