This #ethiopianWolf wolf is the dominant female in the TAR pack. She has been dominant female for two years in the TAR pack. She started giving birth in 2023 and 2024. Her mother was dominant in the TAR pack when she was alive. But now she has replaced her daughter. EWCP Ethiopian Wolf Conservation

Ethiopian wolves have been seen feeding on nectar! 🐺 They are the first large carnivore documented doing this - and may be acting as pollinators too. New from Sandra Lai @sandralai.bsky.social Claudio Sillero WildCRU, Oxford University of Oxford 👇 bit.ly/3AQPsyJ 📷 Danielle Rubens

Dire wolves are not back. Pups created by gene editing grey wolves are not true dire wolves, say canid conservation experts. Recreating the Ice Age sounds exciting, but it won't save what's still wild. #Conservation #Biodiversity #GeneEditing #direwolf tinyurl.com/4yh4mak5
