Finally made an attack stick last night, spending 25 minutes solo only to be joined late on by a rider with fresher legs that managed to get away from me with just over a lap to go. Frustrated with 2nd but there's a lot of positives to be taken away.

Not been a good weekend. Got hit by a car while out training yesterday, thankfully x-rays showed no damage to my spine or knee and I’m counting myself lucky. Back and knee still hurting so time to rest up. Specialized Bicycles helmet saved me - please remember to wear a helmet.

First ride after a tough three weeks off the bike recovering. Knee & back held up, legs felt good considering the time off & I got to have fun on my cross bike in the rain. Now to refocus & get back to business. Thank you to everyone for your support over the past three weeks.

Here something we don’t talk enough about in cycling: Body Image. It’s something that affects so many young men and women in the sport and something that needs tackling in the near future. All bodies are built differently and it’s not about what they look like, but what they do.

Tried my best to light the race up last night. Sadly didn't manage to get anything to stick after many attempts but the guys helped to blow the race apart. It was fun to finally be getting stuck into racing with lots of attacks. Not the result I'd hoped for but onto next time.
