#scriptchat Guardrails and Frozen Lies were elevated to Finalists in Cannes Script Festival. The Dream Weaver is eligible for Best Short narrative at Bridgeport (Will be at Red Carpet event Saturday night) and a reimagined Nexus has taken its first step at the Fantasy/Sci-Fi Fest

For me - dialogue subtext starts in the 3rd draft. I tend to write on-the-nose as a place holder. The characters get deeper as the drafts get tighter. Also- I ignore notes like “would that character say that?” I wrote that character so… yes… she said what she said. #Scriptchat
