I swear I’m working 12 hour days most days this school year. Looking forward to this five day break over Thanksgiving.

Wearing my Suzan-Lori Parks merch from Topdog/Underdog. What a play. It was my first Broadway show ever for its first run in 2003 (Mos Def, Geoffrey Wright) and then I saw the revival (Corey B. Hawkins, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) 20 years later!

Many of my students as well as the gays will be talking about Wicked tomorrow, but I don’t think I can go and watch it today. I have so much grading to do that I would like to finish so my work over the Thanksgiving break is minimal.

Spent $30 on this Todd Snider shirt then went out and made $45 driving Lyft to make up for it

I’m feeling kind of homesick this thanksgiving — having not seen my family since August —but behind on every bill and gearing up for likely $600 BGE bill this month so I’m saving $ and driving Lyft. I’ll see fam over holidays
