In Nairobi, majority of us use fossil-fuel vehicles to move around. Yet, 85% of electricity in Kenya is produced from renewables. 🌞🌊 We're working to change that by developing electric mobility solutions powered by solar energy in collaboration with ENERGICA H2020.
One of the many projects supporting the #EUGreenDeal is ENERGICA H2020. They work in #SierraLeone to support #Smartwaste! Check them out energica-h2020.eu
Meet us at Sustainable Places Conference! Together with REFFECT AFRICA, SophiA and SteamBioAfrica, ENERGICA will discuss interesting topics linked to EU-Africa energy collaboration and the future steps to take. Save the date and purchase your ticket on sustainableplaces.eu
🔙A look back at Sustainable Places Conference Conference 2023 where Victor from NTNU Energy Transition presented ENERGICA! 📸 It was a great opportunity to spread the word about the project and exchange with other EU projects on EU-Africa energy collaboration! 🌍 For more info: energica-h2020.eu
Yesterday, we presented the success story of the Freetown Waste Transformers SL Limited to the GDSO webinar about Success stories and highlights from H2020 Green Deal Call projects! It was the opportunity to share with interested stakeholders the project's progress and the work done in Sierra Leone.
👏And that’s a wrap for our very first review meeting! We presented the work packages to our PO from European Commission and an expert specialised in the thematics addressed in the project. It was a pleasure to exchange about the collaboration we have built up over the last 20 months.
The ENERGICA project is engaged for sustainability in the e-mobility value-chain ⚡ Our partner Raymond Sarr (Jokosun), participated last month in a panel discussion organised by our sister project, SESA Project about Second Life Batteries 🔋
