The problems described here were ones we shared in building the hydra system that ELMS:LN is in order to provoke innovation at scale. A style guide was not enough, a few years into web components we have scale + consistency + Web Ubiquity via #HAXTheWeb and friends all by developing the same way

In early 2017, I was invited to talk about ELMS: Learning Network at BYU's university API unconference. It was a life changing experience. I gave a talk about the platform and later at dinner their C-suite allowed me to eat when someone asked a question and perfectly explained the concept.
