Upset because line is too long at Starbucks or you're stuck in traffic? Here's your reality check: A foster child was asked what he wanted in a family. (h/t Foster Care & Adoption) #fostercare

WINTER STORM: The majority of the state is expected to see significant wintry precipitation Thursday into Friday. Most areas could see 4-10" of snow. A wet snow is expected, which means slushier driving conditions. ARDOT will be working hard around the clock to keep you safe.

A week late, but Henry Killian Coulter joined us late last Thursday afternoon. He’s named after Henrys on both sides and my paternal grandmother. We’re grateful to be this resilient boy’s parents, and we know he’ll do amazing things!

Today's the day! Taking our guy in for the first of several surgeries. I'm truly thankful for Henry's medical team, our supportive family, and my remarkable wife for taking the lead caring for our son.

ARDOT Director Jared Wiley spoke at the ribbon-cutting for the newly restored Old River Bridge in Saline County - the oldest bridge in Arkansas. It took many community stakeholders to save this piece of Arkansas history and restore it so it can be part of our future too.

Two states, one bridge, and now — one name that carries a whole lot of history. Today in Memphis, it became official. The new I-55 bridge will be called “Kings’ Crossing” after three icons — B.B. King; Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.; and the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley.

Although it was 70 degrees and sunny today, ARDOT's Winter Weather Strike Team spent the day training, testing equipment, and practicing real-world scenarios and communication. This will ensure that by the time winter weather hits, our crews are rehearsed and ready.
