Unbelievable loss for the station, and the region. Jenny covered a complicated and fraught beat with empathy and care, knowing that there's much more to public safety than just law and order. Her future in reporting is certain, but WAMU just lost an immense talent.

Jenny's reporting for WAMU was tremendous, compassionate and vital. She is a genius and anything she does next will be made a million times better by her presence, but this is such a loss for the station.
