There's a real debate about whether anti police sentiment caused MPD to disintegrate or if the institution imploded under the weight of its own racism and corruption. Not tolerating anti police sentiment may not fix the latter.

This summer the park board made a temporary skate park with salvaged park equipment on Bde Maka Ska after “unpermitted skateboarding features” appeared last year. The skate park in the North parking lot opened in July and seems to be quite the hit! (Minneapolis, September 2022)
