1/ Thread: My twitter philosophy I have been active on fintwit for almost a year and half now. When I decided to get out of my lurking phase, I could never imagine this account could ever become such a huge part in my life. Let me share my philosophy for building this account.

This is a terrific piece that I deeply agree with. I used to be worried about EU's power to impose business model changes on big tech. I have come to the conclusion that EU has SO massively overplayed their hand that we are closer to the end of EU regulators' influence.

Updated my data on $META buyback. What's crazy is Meta is currently making almost high teen IRR on its 2021 buybacks which was considered downright crazy capital allocation not so long ago. Maybe I shouldn't have been as harsh as I was on Wehner lol.

Almost everyone on fintwit absolutely castigated $META management for those 2021 buybacks, including yours truly. Live and learn. I apologize. 😅

In all seriousness, it's personally such a teachable moment for me. What percentage of active investors beat Meta management over the last three years? Probably less than 10%, and yet we were almost all SO confident in our judgement that Meta made a horrendous mess on their
