Among the Wildflowers I taught my babies "eat" & "help" & "poop" from the minute they could see me sign. I always spoke & signed those at the same time, just like my mom did. They'll start telling you what's wrong by 6 months old, if you give them a way. Signing shouldn't JUST be for the deaf.
