Meet our EHS Junior Leadership Team!!

Congratulations to our Year 10 Peer Leaders who successfully completed their leadership training at Elderslie High School. These students will co-lead peer support sessions for our Year 7 students in Term 2 which are focused on a variety of social and emotional learning outcomes.

EHS is lucky to have MTC Opportunity Hub support our First Nations students!!! Students in Year 7 and 8 participated in their first workshop which was about relationships. It was an awesome session and was great to see students getting involved!!!

Congratulations to Lilly C, (Year 12) on her Work Placement achievements which resulted in her being nominated for the Macarthur Workplace Learning Program's Work Placement Awards last week. We are very proud of you!! 👏👏

Congratulations to the Year 12 Debate Team on their win over Fairfield High School in Round 2 of the Premier's Debating Challenge at the end of last term. Good luck in Round 3!

With only five weeks to go until opening night we had lots of Musical Rehearsals in the holidays. Our CAPA Alumni were also helping out at our holiday rehearsals. Thank you to Nikki, Class of 2004 for all of her help with perfecting our Paso Doble.

Elderslie Agriculture Team are excited to welcome our Murray Grey Steer. Our Show Team will be training and preparing him for the Greater Sydney Schools Cattle Competition where they will develop their skills in livestock handling and showing. #LoveWhereYouLearn

Isabella T competed in the All Schools Open Girls National Softball tournament representing NSW. From this carnival, Isabella was selected in the All School Open Girls Australian Merit squad for the second year in a row. Great job Isabella!!

To kick off our Reconciliation Week celebrations last week, the Elderslie High School Acknowledgement of Country was launched. The student body worked together to develop this with the support of Lisa, our Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer. #LoveWhereYouLearn

Executive Conference 2023! Excellent example of professional discussion, collaboration and decision making. All of the sessions were directed at how we can better lead teaching and learning at our school. Lots of laughs as well!

EHS Agriculture students are excited to announce the arrival of our first set of twin lambs for the season. We have four more ewes who should deliver in the next couple of weeks!! #EdWeek23

Our School Captains Mia & Jeremiah attended the Annual Premiers Breakfast last week, hosted by the Greater Narellan Business Chamber. It was a fantastic opportunity for them both. They also got to met Chris Minns MP, Premier of NSW.

A fantastic day at the Greater Sydney Schools Cattle Competition. Students participated in cattle preparation, parading and cattle judging. It was a great opportunity for them to gain new skills and knowledge of the beef industry.

On Wednesday, Carla C, Hannah S and Eliot W received their Victor Chang School Science Award at a presentation session hosted by Camden Council. Congratulations and well done on this wonderful achievement!

Our EHS Science Fair was held on Tuesday, during National Science Week. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to foster their understanding of science, research, and presentation skills. #LoveWhereYouLearn

Congratulations to the EHS Agriculture Cattle Team for their success at the Greater Sydney Schools Cattle Competition. 11 schools participated in the event and EHS was one of 3 public schools to attend. EHS achieved an amazing third place overall! Well done!
