Last week, our CORE Action Team – a nine-member group of community residents who meet biweekly to speak into the Community Wellness Center’s development - toured the soon-to-be completed Wellness Center in Kensington! We are so excited for this new building to be finished! 🎉

Earlier this week, our Community Health & Wellness Team hosted a Career Fair in partnership w/ Philadelphia Futures. Students had the opportunity to connect w/ Esperanza employees from different departments to learn about the many career options available in health care & beyond!

That’s a wrap on the 31st Summer Medical Institute! SMI is a joint project of EHC & Medical Campus Outreach of Philadelphia. Every year, the SMI program brings health screens & health info to underserved communities through the work of volunteer Christian healthcare students!🩺
