I bought a DSLR camera on Sunday. I know nothing about Photography. Zero. I had one point and shoot camera, and for the last 14 years I've been using smartphones First picture I took, then one I took last night, and now my first B/W picture with an entry level Canon EOS Rebel T7

My first venture into Astrophotography produced these two photos (both taken with my smartphone - before and after post-processing). And I haven't even gone out to try this with my new DSLR.

I haven't lived in Canada since August 2023. I have no bank accounts, RRSPs or any type of financial affairs in Canada. Yet my credit score is excellent (and the best it has been last December, 3 months after leaving the country). Weird.
