40+ representatives of secondary/post-secondary education and employers are on campus at Parkland College this morning to provide input on our regional career pathway initiatives.




Over the next six weeks, we will be celebrating students enrolled in ECCA at Parkland College. First up is Kenley Andreae from GCMS School District. Kenley is a senior enrolled in the CNA program and plans to earn her nursing degree and become a nurse anesthetist. Best of luck!


Emma Wurl, a SR at Central HS, is enrolled in ECCA Construction Trades. After graduation, she plans to enroll in Construction Mgmt. at Parkland College. Her favorite part of the program has been learning and experiencing the different trade options. Keep up the great work, Emma!


AJ Laubscher is a HS SR at Tuscola CUSD #301 and is enrolled in the ECCA Automotive program. AJ is a year 2 student. After this semester, he will have earned 27 credits and an Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair certificate from Parkland College. Keep up the great work, AJ!

Jessica Hawk is a senior at Mahomet-Seymour HS and is enrolled in the ECCA Education Pathway program for future teachers. She hopes to continue her studies at Parkland or ISU College of Education. She has played softball all 4 years of HS. Keep up the great work, Jessica!




Blake Burr is a SR at Centennial and is enrolled in the CNA program. Blake reports that ECCA has helped him prepare for college and will help him reach his goal of becoming an RN. Blake plans to return to Parkland College next year! Keep up the good work! Champaign Unit 4 Schools


Kiley Knoll is a senior at Heritage High School and will soon be completing the CNA program. She has enjoyed meeting the amazing CNA instructors and making new friends. She has been involved in NHS, Student Council, Yearbook, FFA, FCCLA, Volleyball, and Cheer. Best of luck, Kiley!
