I told myself l wasn't going to post but l feel l must. Jane Garrett may have had good intentions and all death is a human tragedy. But she really inflicted great harm that has never been recognised publicly. It may have been collateral damage but it was real and forseeable.

I am still retired from this role or any regular interest in current affairs. But l have to say, every couple of weeks l get bored enough to check the news, and l go for ABC (non-paywalled), and I get disheartened they still pitch their headlines at 10-year-olds. Please, fix it.

Sometimes l think the likes of Shannon Deery actually serve the groups he is directed to attack. I won't pay to read but already l see facile claims like "mega" and "whopping". Seriously Shannon, 3% pa after several years of 0%, under high inflation. Quit making a fool of yourself.
