Our math brains started off strong this morning! Our pal, Max sorted his morning snack into 10 frames before math even started, AND we worked collaboratively to count the collections that we estimated with referents of 10 from yesterday! We rocked it! 👏Dwight Ross Elementary School

We met our learning buddies today! We were VERY excited to learn that they got to be the “big” buddies this year! We heard a spooky Halloween story and then built haunted houses for our ghosts to live in with our new pals! 🏚️👻Dwight Ross Elementary School

Friday was a fun day! Students were greeted off the bus by a unicorn and a shark and our Pre-Primary friends created a pumpkin person named Pumpkin Pie! Have a super weekend!

With their guest teacher on Friday, my little friends graphed whether they think Baby P will be a boy or a girl! Today during snack, Mrs. Mainwaring asked them questions about it! Our math brains were ON 💡! We love those real life connections! 👶Dwight Ross Elementary School

Our 2nd Annual Haunted Hallway was so much fun! I think our staff enjoyed it as much as our students! Happy Halloween from the DRES crew 🎃

This morning we had an awesome visit from some big grade 6 buddies from Pine Ridge Middle School! We taught them a new math game, we read together and ended off our visit with creating a picture to remember each other by! We weren’t ready to say goodbye! Dwight Ross Elementary School 🧡
