Sometimes I have weak moments where I see fully vaccinated people missing out on funerals because they’re stuck in MIQ. Then I remember the science that even when there are 100s of cases of community transmission a day unfortunately we cannot start new chains of transmission.

Why has the government not made an announcement to cancel Halloween? I absolutely do not want any children showing up at my door step and creating exposure events. I will be positioned in my top floor window with a hose spraying anyone that comes close.

A few weeks ago I heard a thud and someone screaming “f*** I think I’ve broken my back”. I looked outside and my neighbour had fallen off her roof, I stayed inside. I later found out she was unvaccinated. It was an important reminder to always stay inside even if you could help.

I'm so excited, I just purchased a cool green folder to store all my covid papers. When we are "living with covid" I will always carry around a print out of my vaccine certificate, bank statement (proof I'm from Auckland), and my daily covid pcr test result.

Something that’s been keeping me up at night is people coming into NZ with insufficient covid antibodies. We need to do antibody tests on their flight and if they are low administer a Pfizer booster. It would stop people with inferior vaccines compromising our safety.

This is why I love New Zealand, we are one of the few countries in the world that care about public health and will go to any length to achieve it. It’s a shame that supermarkets won’t require vaccine certificates I’m not sure where I will be able to shop safely for groceries.

People have been asking what dangerous things the unvaxed do. I once had an unvaxed patient who I diagnosed with asymptomatic fatigue (via zoom). I told him he must stay in bed for 3 weeks to rest, he disobeyed my orders. He was ok in the end but it could have gone horribly wrong

I was just having a heated argument with a colleague over the phone. When I quad mask i wear surgical -> cloth -> N95 -> P100. He was saying the correct way is cloth -> surgical -> N95 -> P100. What do you guys think? (there might not be a correct answer just personal preference)
