Brilliant time had by all at the Battlefields Trust annual Conference at York St John University this weekend. Superb keynotes by Dr Rachael Whitbread 🖋️ on the York jousts of 1400, Michael Wood on locating the Battle of Brunanburh, and David Cooke on Marston Moor!
This looks to be an excellent book - I was lucky enough to accompany Dr Graeme Callister on a research trip and can attest that it’s a fascinating read! #historybook #waterloo
