Prof. Joanne Chory who was suppose to recieve the Wolf Prize in Agriculture 2024 passed away yesterday, before the Wolf Prize ceremony in the Knesset was held. She contributed a great body of knowledge to our understanding of plants, and educated generations of scientists. RIP.
