Iranian targets included Tel Aviv, Rishon lezion and few others, with light impacts despite Israeli intercepts. Israel’s Iron Shield defense system is active, but some got through.

Israel uses the THAAD missile defense system to conduct exoatmospheric missile interception. They intercepted the missile above Earth’s atmosphere—basically in space.
