Midjourney V7 is better at some things and worse at others. One thing it's really good at is making kick ass MRI machines, fit to my whimsical thoughts.

Just over a week ago my 14 year old had a 2+ minute seizure. She went to the ER by ambulance where she was admitted for a 24-hour EEG and MRI, along with other testing. Today Aetna denied covering any of it because it wasn’t “medically necessary.”

A video game company made $2 billion in 1982. Its employees used to drink beer in the office, hold meetings in hot tubs, and did coke with girls. Even Steve Jobs was part of it once. But within just 2 years, the company had to bury millions of games in a desert. Thread 🧵

I can't recall a single time in my life that I have taken an on-time flight out of O'Hare Intl. Airport. Turns out that today is once again not going to be that day.

With the Guardian reporting that “UnitedHealth managers pressed nurse practitioners to persuade Medicare Advantage members to change their “code status” to DNR even when patients had clearly expressed a desire that all available treatments be used to keep them alive,” I thought I

Working on updating my glenohumeral ligaments diagram. Liking how this looks, but open to thoughts for improvement. Biceps tendon looks too big, for example.

Can anyone explain why each state mandates a medical license for a physician who is licensed in another state? If I see a patient on one side of the line, and then step over, did something change? If I conduct a telehealth consult, does it really matter where the patient is? Come

Using AI to generate slop and then referencing the slop to enforce policy should be a massive scandal but these days if someone in the administration banned anesthetic and cited "a dog told me in a dream" I'd be like yeah that's pretty much how it goes

Do you think it tends to come off as rude when you add please to a question? Like it turns an honest question into a command? E.g. "Can you help with this?" vs "Can you please help with this?"

On Sunday I traveled to the middle of the desert to capture this: The ISS against our sun. What I didn't expect: the sun producing a magnificent flare at the same time A once-in-a-lifetime shot I'm thrilled to share with you. See the uncropped shot or get the print in the reply
