Sure, sex is nice, but have you ever gone on a deep dive about whether choosing a circumcized penis for your #BG3 elf is lore appropriate and found a canon answer from the Archmage from 2007? Shout out to Ed Greenwood for answering the important questions.

So for everyone saying, “but it’s for kids”, here’s an example of how you can write a “DM Tip” to address the fact that things can go badly for the PCs without tweaking the game in play.

Whether this adventure is designed for 12-year-olds or not, this is dumb advice. The game isn’t enjoyable when there’s no challenge. Rather than encourage people to just cheat to have fun, how about you fix the CR system?

IMO, this is much better than the previous art that was teased. The last one really reminded me of 4e with the colour palette and stylization. This one feels like an evolution instead of a regression. If we must move away from the current 5e art style, I can live with this.

I’m torn on this. I generally put class tables one page flip away from the concept art for aesthetic reasons; it looks weird to have the two adjacent. I don’t at all buy into this “intimidation” angle. That just tells me the consultants don’t like TTRPGs.
