Congratulations to Michelle Thompson for winning the Above and Beyond Award at West Education Center. Michelle is a student safety coach and was nominated by her colleagues for achieving academic success, cultivating equity and inclusion, and promoting social-emotional learning.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Support each other, practice self-care, and reach out when needed. Shanel, a 287 school psychologist, said working with the students and being part of a diverse community helps increase mental health for everyone.
