While simultaneously moving and cataloging my book collection, I found this gem in the 1969 Furnas text . . . you just never know what you'll find when you open the pages of a real book! And still a good question ... "are we civilized"?

I have decided that, as a woman, the first half of your life is learning how to multitask. The second part of your life is about learning how to focus on one thing at a time.

I have not the frame of mind to reread Rousseau this morning, though I must. I might just puke up my doughnuts...I'm sure that would have charmed the pants right off him.

Rousseau about sex, 1762: "The Most High has . . . endowed man with boundless passions, together with a law to guide them, so that man may be alike free and self-controlled; though swayed by these passions man is endowed with reason by which to control them." #rape

So many assignment formats are now unavailable options because of AI. I have tried to keep discussion boards going. But, alas, RIP. No more.

This hell site is making us all stupid. Trump doesn't have the ability to revoke the EEO (1972) or title VII of the civil rights act (1964). He rolled back Executive Order 11246 of 1965 which while shitty, only applies to federal contractors.
