The U.S. is the most financialized country in the world. Literally all just stock market wealth.

Obama entered with a Dem supermajority in Congress and left with Trump as President, a GOP Congress, and a shattered Democratic brand. Dems will never govern until they reject Obama.

China is pulling away from US debt as a primary reserve asset. Same with many major central banks. The US dollar is in a nosedive. Countries cannot rely on the US anymore and are moving on without us. I'll give you one guess as to why.

Is there another country that keeps millions of people in indefinite statelessness under control of their military due to their ethnicity? And is this country also our greatest ally that we have to spend all our time and money defending?

This is the kind of "sewer socialism" that will make a Mamdani mayoralty a major success. Just eliminate everyday annoyances and improve quality of life in lots of small ways. Then everyone will associate "socialism" with "city life getting better."

Not to overstate it, but this is a crucial moment for the Democratic Party. If they decide that normal people with some small skeletons in their closet (or inked on their chest) are not welcome, they are finished Because they’ve tried the other way and it didn’t work.
