Super proud of Christopher Panebianco, PhD for his fantastic talk today International Society of Bone Morphometry (ISBM)! Great job, Chris! #ISBM2024

Excited to share my work with Joel Boerckel at #ISBM2024 ! International Society of Bone Morphometry (ISBM)

Fantastic work by ArinOestreich and Natalia Harasymowicz and team - did you know that what your parents ate before you were born will affect your bone health?

Thrilled and grateful to receive this award. We hope to shift paradigms in the complex role of fat interorgan crosstalk on musculoskeletal pain with aging and obesity. Honored to be counted among the #NIHHighRisk labs & these exceptional folks UCSF Musculoskeletal Center UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery UC San Francisco

Congrats to Orthopaedic Research Society board member Kelsey Collins on this outstanding achievement and recognition!

Congrats Kelsey Collins, PhD UCSF Musculoskeletal Center UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery for incredible achievements in osteoarthritis research! Excited to be representing Joel Boerckel and the future Panebianco Lab™️ at #BMES2024!

Check out our latest paper in Frontiers - Bioengineering and Biotechnology showing that healthy but not osteoarthritic meniscus-derived matrix scaffolds can promote ex vivo meniscus repair. This was a great collaboration with our clinical colleagues Duke Orthopaedics Saman Firoozi Dawn Chasse frontiersin.org/journals/bioen…

Check out our comprehensive transcriptomic comparison of inner and outer zone meniscus tissue to cartilage and passaged meniscus cells to identify meniscus specific genes Scientific Reports. nature.com/articles/s4159… Duke Orthopaedics Kaileen Fei Dawn Chasse A'nna Kelly

It is great to finally share our systematic review on structural extracellular matrix components in soft tissues in osteoarthritis! Congratulations to my co-authors Iwan Raza and Sarah Snelling. boneandjoint.org.uk/Article/10.130…

The first paper from PhD student Maxine Olson is out. She developed an algorithm to distribute a ground reaction force into multiple vectors to allow for calculation of midfoot and ankle moments using standard clinical gait lab equipment. sciencedirect.com/science/articl… Marquette & MCW Joint Dept. of Biomedical Eng.

Congratulations to our newest PhD candidate, Allison Robinson, on her successful prelim yesterday! Thankful to have such a beautiful day to celebrate today. DukePathDept Duke Orthopaedics

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at #ORS2025. Come check out our work! Orthopaedic Research Society ORS Meniscus Duke Orthopaedics DukePathDept

Starting #ORS2025 with a phenomenal talk from Dr. Deezy (Sade W. Clayton, PhD) on how #aging and the immune system alter and magnify IVD in both males and females, and more so, how #pain fits into this complex relationship 👏🏼🧬

Ended a jam-packed day at #ORS2025 with talks from Hope Welhaven, PhD and others to discuss interdisciplinary approaches to solutions for OA👏 I am constantly inspired by Hope, who presented on the metabolome of knee OA patients following 18-mo weight loss interventions #ORSSMC
