We will #neverforget the lives lost & the brave Americans who were true heroes 20 years ago today. Though 9/11 reminds us of a painful time in our nation’s history, it's important to come together to remember why our country is remarkable & why our values are worth protecting.

Among those we honor this 9/11 are those brave FDNY members who gave their lives for others on this day twenty years ago. We came together at the interfaith prayer service today to pray for them, those who became ill and died in the years following, and those who mourn them.
