The course is finally starting to take shape, the soil temperature is just getting over 18° today, it's been hovering around 8° on our more exposed greens, still only taking a box off with, no growth reg, hopefully it will start to grow soon 🤷🏻‍♂️

The 10th fairway bunker is finally being filled in, with all the rain we have had up on the Fell. It has been too wet to get any machinery anywhere near it. Hopefully, it will be graded bt the close of play tomorrow, then turf next week. #greenkeeper #greenkeeping #winterwork

The course isn't looking too bad at the moment. Growth has more or less stopped even on the greens. Soil temps on some of our greens have been down to 1°c the last few mornings, but our PH has now come down from 8.5 to 6.8, so at least we are heading in the right direction there.
