The last few days into Nador were interesting. I had a visit from the Moroccan police and security services who nicely asked if I would go with them to stay somewhere safe. They said I was in danger. Fair enough. Discovered I was being followed discreetly for my own protection.

The weather became colder and wet the further north I cycled. Cold and wet feet became the norm as I returned to winter conditions

The next section was to follow the Champagne et Bourgogne canal

More progress through northern France

The Paris to London veloroute would take me to Dieppe for the ferry across the Newhaven

The last stretch into Dieppe was a bit of a rush to catch the late afternoon ferry.

The last wild camp of the tour was not a million miles away from the ferry terminal at Newhaven. After that it was a train back home via Buckingham Palace . After 1,900 miles of cycling, the tour from the Sahara to the UK was complete.
