On Labor Day, SEIU 509 members joined with labor and community allies across the state to demand an economy that puts workers first — NOT billionaires. From Holyoke to Boston, we won’t stop fighting until every worker is treated with dignity, fairness, and respect. ✊

With more attacks against working people every day, the movement took to the streets for Labor Day this year to stand against the billionaire agenda. Over 1,000 actions happened coast to coast, showing just the start of our power to organize and fight back.

This past Saturday, we gathered for our annual Steward Assembly, where Local 509 stewards strategized and discussed how to continue building worker power at our worksites and in our communities. Thank you to all who attended!
