Today we launched 🌸 Arc Max 🌺 our first set of AI features that we hope level up your every day on the internet. My favorite is Ask in Page! A quick way to get answers I use whenever I'm reading dense, technical documentation. 🧵 Why did we build 20+ prototypes this summer?

Now you can share Arc Folders & Spaces w your co-workers – even if they don't use Arc! When I worked at Thrive Capital, I would've created a new Arc Folder for each company we were doing diligence on. And then share a single (Arc Folder) link in Slack as bundle of all my work!

A little bit blown away how you can solve the 6000 tabs problem by using the Arc Browser. Just a change in the UI and you never get into the state of needing 100s of tabs. Outside of Apple, you don't see such effective UI/UX work.

I recently spoke at my first conference in... ever? Here's my Fireside Q&A about The Browser Company at Slush Conference last week: arc.net/l/quote/yyxgqv…

I’m so proud of this team! Big day today as our first Windows beta invites go out. It's also a big day for the Swift on Windows! Arc on Windows is built in Swift, and shares a majority of its code with macOS. Our codebase is also now cross-platform, making future ports easier!

Of course none of those details were by themselves enough to justify a decision to choose to use Chrome. But together they represented an ethos of care for the total consumer experience that we liked and people seemed to appreciate. [6/6]

Darin Fisher Chrome wasn’t just a document viewer, it was a sophisticated application environment, ready for the next wave of the web. [15/15]

It turns out ordering bananas remains an unsolved problem. Ask for 7, and they give you 7 *bunches*. Ask for 2 bunches, and they just give you 2 lonely bananas. What is going on here??

yo, i hate to say this but today's the day i admit writing a windows browser in swift using winui was too ambitious. we'll be re-writing arc in c# using winforms. it's the only way to make arc reach all windows users. first release will support windows xp. stay tuned for updates

It's been a fascinating project bringing up Arc on Windows. Thanks to #pointfree's work on TCA, we've been able to readily share a remarkable amount of code across macOS and Windows using Swift -- all while building out a truly native UX powered by Win UI 3.

Arc Search is growing rapidly – went from zero to six figure DAUs in 4 months – and we're looking for super senior Android engineers❣️ Open to contract and contract-to-hire too, in addition to full-time. Please DM me if that sounds like you! Original technical challenges too:
