The Toronto Maple Leafs had a very special ceremony to honor Börje Salming tonight. ❤️ The Swedish legend who still stands as the highest scoring defenseman in Leafs history is currently going through a battle with ALS, but 'came home' to Toronto for the weekend.

Up at 3:45am for 6am flight to Vancouver to skate at 7pm. Forgets back pack at home and was almost late getting through security. Had minor panic attack… then flight gets delayed an hour and a half anyways after boarding 🙄 ….it’s nap time 😴

Correct call Steve. Ref can award goal due to defending player knocking net off moorings (accidentally or deliberately) prior to puck crossing goal line in space where net should be. I actually wrote this rule & submitted to rules committee from plays I had in 2 games.
