My article just published! Circadian modulation by time-restricted feeding rescues brain pathology and improves memory in mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Two papers highlight the circadian rhythms - neurodegenerative disease link. The 1st, Lee, Jiyeon Erik Musiek, links a circadian protein -> tauopathy. The 2nd UCSD Neurosciences shows time restricted feeding is a poss intervention. 1. buff.ly/3PfGAqW 2. buff.ly/45TrtZK

Thinking back on a recent article I published showing a ketogenic diet evoked a robust rhythm in serum levels of ketones, dramatic changes in the microbiome, and transcriptional changes in the brain. Notably, sleep, sleep onset as well as physical performance were improved.
