Michelle and I send our congratulations to a fellow Chicagoan, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. This is a historic day for the United States, and we will pray for him as he begins the sacred work of leading the Catholic Church and setting an example for so many, regardless of faith.

I appreciated the opportunity to spend the last few days in Japan where I met with alumni, donors and partners who are helping Michigan State University grow our global impact.

Had an incredible time at the Spartan Alumni Dinner in Tokyo. Chosei Kabira - a two-time Spartan grad (class of '56 and '60) - started the MSU Alumni Club of Japan in 1973. MSU's partnerships across the world make us all stronger.

Coming soon: the Broad Finance Lab! The Brigham Financial Analysis Lab is located in the Eppley Center and will open in fall 2026. The lab's mission is to immerse undergraduate and graduate students in the tools and technologies that define modern finance.

In Michigan, our LGBTQ+ community is strong, vibrant, and a vital part of who we are. Pride is about honoring your courage, your joy, and the work you do every day to move us forward. I’ll keep fighting to make sure Michigan is a safe, welcoming place for everyone 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
