Second book of the year is done. Read this if you want a quick book to make you think about and reflect on all aspects of your leadership. Very light read with good insights!

Today was jersey day in honor of the Super Bowl and one of my old colleagues came in to be our first Black History Month reader. Mrs. Motley Mims shared with our scholars the story “Each Kindness” by Jacqueline Woodson!

Millis Road had a surprise visit from Swarmy this morning before our upcoming Swarm Night. Our very own Millis Men will be honored on the court and we can not wait!

Millis Men were honored as the fans of the night at the Swarm game tonight. I feel blessed every day to provide mentorship to this group of young men, along with a dedicated group of mentors!

The SEL Community day was a blast. We had so much fun seeing current and former students and colleagues and hearing about all the great things going on in GCS. Special shoutout to NWHS and my wife Alexis Tilley for winning the HS SEL Week challenge! GCS Social Emotional Learning and Character Ed

Career day was a hit today! Our Millis Men and Leading Ladies served as our hospitality crew to all of our guests. It’s always a good day when you get to talk to Sandy Sikes PhD. Huge shoutout to everyone who volunteered today. The kids had a blast!
